ADIA JOI
Born and raised in Atlanta, always had a passion for dancing, performing, and entertaining. She began training in competitive cheerleading and gymnastics at the age of 4 and instantly fell in love with the sport. There she gained her performance factor and confidence and knew she’d want to perform for the rest of her life. At the age of 15 she started branching out more into theater and dance and booked her first major role in a traveling stage play called “Ant Hill Live” as one of the lead characters , Riley. From there, she was introduced to several choreographers and started performing at local event all around the metro Atlanta area. She’s had the opportunity to grace a few major stages at award shows and music festivals and has also made an appearance in several music videos. She continued pursuing her dream to dance and began interning at dance studios and teaching at kids dance camps and taking dance classes in different genres for more training and knowledge in the industry. While training, she began to notice that she had a gift and a love for creating and sharing her own choreography and knowledge with her kids as well as her peers and since then has been sharing it with the world on different social media platforms such as YouTube and Instagram and putting her work in many different showcases as well as choreographing several local Artists. It’s only up from here, as she continues her journey as a Dancer/Choreographer/Creative Director and more!

“Free Mind” is a place where you can come and explore with your movement and let it heal you back to a place of living the craft. The goal is to build a space where we can learn to build a space where we can learn to love dance again in midst of the pressures of trying to build a career out of it!
